Registration is open!   Online pre-registration required for all participants.  Sign up early, as race day registration is by QR code and smartphone only and will cost $5 more. 

 

Westerly Town Beach Pavilion, 365 Atlantic Avenue, Westerly, RI 02891

Start times:
9:30am:  Registration opens
11:00am:  Start of 5K and 5-Mile races
12:00noon:  Start of kids' run on the beach (FREE, but registration required)

The course is on flat, fast roads along Atlantic Avenue.  The 5K will turn around near Weekapaug Bridge; 5 Mile course continues along the ocean through Weekapaug before returning to Atlantic Avenue.  Both courses are USATF certified.  Timing by SNERRO.

Entry fees:
- Early  registration (up to Mar 24):  $20 adults, $15 age 18 and under 
- Regular registration (Mar 25 - Apr 13):  $27 adults, $22 age 18 and under
- Race day registration (Apr 14):  $32 adults, $27 age 18 and under

$5 discount to all pre-registered WTAC members
Shirts: included if registered by Mar 24; afterwards first-come, first-serve

 

Awards:
Overall:  Top male and female
Age Groups:  Winner (male & female) in each of:  13 and under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

 

Chowder and drinks will be served post-race for all participants.  Strollers discouraged, but if used should start at the back of the pack.   Dogs allowed as spectators only; prohibited on course.  Walkers are welcome at all of our events; HOWEVER, in consideration of our volunteers' time, we respectfully ask walkers to choose the shorter 5K course.
